Protip Confused? Take a short tutorial. Theme: White / Dark

  1. Hello and welcome to poe.trade.

    You'll love it.

  2. Import item data

poe.trade can automatically generate your search based on an item.

This is useful when you're looking for upgrades or trying to price something.

  3. Name

This field allows you to search items based on their name. Note that this field only accepts full words.

For example, scouring is a valid query but scour will yield zero results.

  4. Damage

The min and max fields here are not to be confused with Physical Damage minimum and maximum damage. Instead, these are calculated as the average value.

For example, consider an item with Physical Damage: 123–183. In that case the Damage will be (123 + 183) / 2 = 153. For that item to appear on search results page the min field should be set to something less (or equal) than 153 and max to something greater (or equal) than it.

  5. DPS

DPS (damage per second) is calculated as a multiplication of average damage (physical and elemental combined) and APS (attacks per second).

  6. eDPS

eDPS is elemental damage per second. It's calculated the same way as DPS but only elemental damage is considered.

  7. pDPS

pDPS is physical damage per second.

  8. Math is fun

DPS = eDPS + pDPS + chaos DPS

  9. Colors

Number of red, green and blue sockets you want to see on an item goes here.

  10. Linked

Works the same way as "Colors", but all sockets will be linked. For example, to find items suitable for vendor's chromatic recipe you should enter 1, 1, 1 here.

  11. Mods

Do not confuse implicit modifiers with explicit. An item can only have one implicit modifier. In game it's the one displayed above the horizontal line.

If you're still unsure what this means, consult the wiki: Implicit modifier, Item Affix (Explicit mod).

  12. Mod filter groups

You can have multiple mod filter groups. For an item to be displayed on the results page it has to match all groups.

Read more about filtering items like a pro here.

  13. Increased quantity

This is only applicable to maps.

  14. Online only

Only items sold by sellers that are online will be shown.

Note that this filter isn't perfect. Since GGG doesn't provide the list of online players, it's crowdsourced (via Acquisition and other tools) and will be imprecise.

  15. Buyout only

Only items with buyout or fixed price specified will be shown.

  16. Normalize quality

When applicable, treat items as having 20% quality. This will affect Armour, Evasion, Shield values for armour pieces; Damage/DPS for weapons. Doesn't apply to gems.
